Thriller Tiltle Sequence Analysis (Vertigo

Who is being represented in the opening scene? Are these representation positive or negative?
A young lady was represented at the start of the opening scene, showing in her eyes that she is scared or affaird of something. This representation is negative , because it shows that she might be in danger or some sort of trouble.the look in the eyes of the character emphasizes that their is going to be something very dramatic and shocking it about to happen. with this indication it creates tension amongst the audience as it create a sense of dangerous in their minds, which is a negative representation, which set the theme of the film from the beginning for the audience that was not aware. 




 
What does title for each opening look like? Does this tell you that it is a thriller genre?
The title of the opening sample with a hint of little desgin of spirals. The opening title of vertigo does shows and emphasise of the genre of the film with the its mixture of conventional and non unconventional titles which gives of the style of the genre of the film. The ways that title has being presented shows the theme of the film it give an indication on what to be expected in the the film. the grid of which different forms of images shows the creative of the opening title, it shows the immediate  affect of the film to the audience, it shows how adventurous and exciting the film is going to be , the opening tile give and intent sense of the style , theme and type of genre that is based in the film , with the types of images used in the opening title.

Analyse the camera, sound,editing and mise-en-scene. How do these technical areas make you aware that this is the thriller genre?
In the opening title of vertigo the woman was the main focus at the beginning, the camera was exstreamly close-up to her face, showing all her facial features. zooming in on her lips, showing how nervous she was. The camera focus on her eyes which shows the fear and nervousness in her eyes. which allows audiences to understand that the thrill is an psychological thriller. through the use of the different camera angles and shots it allows the audiotape to gain instance understanding on what the theme of the thrill is and what area it specialise in. which makes the understanding of the full film much easier and better and faster. 


Does the narrative in the opening correspond to the conventions of a thriller film? How?
The narrative of the films opening tile corresponds to the conventions of a thriller film , because it show the protagonist being put in danger by the antagonist. it also creates enigmas for the audience from the start with the opening title. it also creates voyeurism for audience whilst watching the opening title of the film through the eyes of the characters.


 Which production company was the film made by? How might this affect the film content?
 The film vertigo was directed and produced by Alfred Hitchcock ,the film was supported and published by the american film institute. Hitchcock was know for his great work as a director and producer of many of his thriller themed film. H was know for creating really good plot for the film that he makes. This aspect helped the film to go far in the cinema's as many people are familiar with his great work. With in mind the film made $7.311.013 in the box office released of the film. 

       What do you think might happen in the rest of the film? Give a brief suggestion of the narrative?

Due to the theme and the genre of the film being psychological thriller, its clear that someone is to be form insane for their actions. someone will get found out for doing something that they thing they have been hiding very well, there will be a lot of tension and drama and close shaves , which will make the film interesting.
